How would time travel even work?

Postby Person7 » Fri Oct 21, 2011 2:12 am

If we want to go into the future then how would that even work? How can you go someplace that doesn't even exist physically yet. Like how could you go some place that hasn't even happens yet! And time isn't something physical to minipulate but just a sense I guess you could say. But then again I don't study this and I'm not a scientist so yea so I could be wrong haha.

This is all theory, but I've made a study of studying how time travel would work. This is as I understand it, according to Einstein's Theory of Relativity.

Time travel into the future works by travelling at almost the speed of light. As you approach the speed of light, time appears to slow down. Apparently, an astronaut who spent 7 months in space orbiting earth at high speeds aged 37 seconds less than he would have on Earth -- in effect, he travelled 37 seconds into the future.

Similarly, time travel into the past required you to travel faster than the speed of light. Because you are moving faster than light, time appears to move backwards. This is thought to be impossible -- although, the LHC has apparently discovered particles that move faster than the speed of light.

Riding a bike fun bit the various contradictions, many critically acclaimed grandfather paradox. If you do not have it, you can never accept the agencies born, but if you never built when you can not go to the eradication of your ancestors was shocked.

You are driving your car running on natural gas. No memory, how would you know how to do? How do you even know how to pump gas in this matter, or, how do you know how to drive? Did not we remember that the ability of the events of the past, we will be a continuous blank slate. So it is easy to understand why our brain is dependent on the memory.
