A turbocharged 2.3-liter 4-cylinder unit that was used in the previous generation has been replaced with a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6 engine. It produces 273 hp (203 kW / 277 PS) which is a jump of 33hp over the previous model and is mated with a brand new 6-speed automatic transmission that features a lock-up torque converter. The 2013 RDX will be available in either front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive variants. The body has been aerodynamically enhanced from previous models and styling has evolved to make the RDX more SUV-like. It gets a set of new 5-spoke 18-inch wheels as standard which are attached to a MacPherson strut front and multi-link rear suspension design.

And an EPA estimated 28 miles per gallon is another advantage. And it has AcuraLink software inside the console which I presume is something along the lines of OnStar or Carwings for Nissan.
